(Something that felt frustrating, discouraging, or unclear.)

(Something that felt encouraging, helpful, and clarifying)

Let's celebrate what God has done together and lay our burdens at His feet.

Goals and Outcomes

The amount you have prayerfully decided would help your ministry and family thrive when given each month.

The amount of gifts given which are currently set up to be recurring monthly transactions. (Don't include pledges not yet received.)

Note: special gifts should be calculated as monthly support (by using the formula "gift÷12") and added to your "to date" total

The amount of time you have agreed with your Supervisor that you will be dedicating to focusing on reaching your Support Raising targets.

The amount of time you actually spent in prayer, on phone calls, at appointments, in travel, following up, using MPD software, etc.

This must be confirmed with your supervisor as it affects your time & focus.

Text messages are helpful for setting up communication and for follow-up, but people are more likely to say yes to an appointment via a phone call.

The new appointments, not follow up to previous ones (reported below).

Can be face-to-face or virtual appointments, but focused time together.

Name and Outcome - Yes / Maybe / No / Referrals

If Yes - include $ amount & frequency (monthly, annually, special, other)

If Maybe - include the date you will follow up with them for an answer

If Referrals - include how many new contacts you have gained

From previous appointments in the past (more than a week old), be sure to continue carefully tracking ongoing efforts for follow-up with those who were "maybe" and build a good rhythm of prayer, communication, and follow-up.

This might include reestablishing communication with old friends or coworkers, whom you intend to later ask for an actual appointment.

This can be via emails, texts, letters, face to face and social media.

On your calendar and confirmed with the other party.

Many support raisers struggle with focusing their efforts into getting appointments, yet without appointments they are unlikely to reach their partnership goals.

Consider what it will look like if you break your weekly "setting up appointment goals" into simplified daily goals, separate from having the actual in-person appointments. Take those big weekly goals and divide them into minimum daily goals.
